FIRE & ICE
First, the fire...
Well, I guess I won't be watching American Idol this time around. They couldn't even give me a token hottie to cheer for. What's wrong with those people?

Where's Bo Bice? Okay, I technically know where he is... he's out there working and building a career, but I want him back on Idol so I can have something to look forward to every week (or few days, as the case may be) when Maria's watching it. He was the most kick-ass contestant they ever had on that show. A combination of that hair and those legs, I think... that power voice and that southern accent. Aye Carumba!
And on the opposite end of the spectrum, I rediscovered Fox Mulder the other day flipping through channels and landing on The X Files. LOL! I used to love that show, but I haven't seen a rerun forever. But there I was, innocently flipping along, and suddenly there's Mulder. And suddenly I remembered why I loved him so.

He's another one of those cases where it's not the actor that interests me, but the character. I never found David Duchovny overly sexy, despite the fact he once posed for photos wearing nothing but a teacup... *heh*
No, it was Mulder -- cute in that "little boy lost" kind of way, on that never-ending quest for truth. Soft-spoken but quick-witted, gentle but determined, and a good man who proved it's possible to have a deep friendship with a woman with no sexual relationship necessary. *sigh*
He also fed my "suit and tie" fetish, which I think developed because so few people (okay, NONE) wear that kind of stuff around here. But Mulder should never have dressed in anything else, in my opinion, though I'd let him get away with the suit jacket off and the white-shirt sleeves rolled up. Yum! I would have even traded the tiny red speedo shots for that lovely suit and tie he wore so well. Throw an overcoat into the mix, and it was practically orgasmic.
Um... too much information?

Okay, enough rambling. Now for the ice...

First, your ice pictures are wonderful. Beautiful! I would be glad to take some of that snow off your hands. Would if I could!!
Bo Bice was hot and Rockin. Yeah, I'd love to see him up there - or someone like him. I haven't watched it in the past two weeks. Not holding my attention. Maybe next week - when they narrow it down a bit.
OH MAN! LOVE the teacup! WOW! Always did think David D was a cutie. Loved him in "Return to Me." Very romantic movie. Now, to see Mr. Depp in a teacup. Yowza!! (I know - you'd rather see Antonio. I wouldn't mind that myself!)
Thanks again for all your help. That last gif was exactly what I needed. My hearts are going all over my page. Now to find the same things for St Patty's Day, Easter, Spring, etc. LOL! Let me know if you find a good site.

Nice photos of ice.
I never thought Mulder was particularly great looking. He always had this blank look in his eyes, and that always bothered me... although I really loved that character. I'm trying to convice my mom to buy us the first 6 seasons on dvd, but it seems unlikely unless I want to be collecting them season by season for the next 6 birthdays :)
Your ice pictures are really pretty, even if the subject matter wasn't all that fun. Especially love the squi-rel (said as in, "Daddy, I want a squi-rel!") Here's my recipe for making fresh snow more tolerable: Mix clean snow with orange pineapple juice and Malibu coconut rum. I call it Yellow Snow. (I have to admit, I've only made it once, when I was visiting a buddy in Pennsylvania. Not much opportunity for it here, but I do remember it fondly.)

craving tea for some reason
Wow those are some great pictures. Thanks for sharing.
I can't believe I fell asleep before idol. I have no idea whose going to be on... Ang
Don't watch Idol... not at all interested. :)
X-Files reruns every Monday night on TNT from like... midnight to 0500, my time. (So, 11 to 0400 your time?) I love that show. My favorite show. I did muchly like the Mulder character... actually both he & Scully's characters. Mainly because of the gender role reversal thing that was going on. I also liked the very close, but (until the end) platonic relationship they shared. As a person who has very close & very platonic opposite gender friends, that really stood out for me.
I do muchly like Duchovny personally, as well. Though not because I think he's cute. :p I enjoy that he's very intelligent & I like his very dry, acerbic wit. I think I would get along well with him. :)
I missed Idol... are there no good guys on this time? :bummer: I really like Chris last season and thought he probably should have won it all.
Loved your pics. You got some great shots of the snow and ice.
It's the character, not the actor. Though he does improvise a lot of the corny Mulder jokes featured :)
That Teacup picture burns my eyes, by the way. Haha
